Detectives investigate fatal shooting at Norwalk business parking lot
A man was shot to death Sunday night in a Norwalk parking lot, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 7:16 p.m. outside a business in the 11600 block of Rosecrans Avenue, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Information Bureau said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Koerner said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were at the scene reviewing surveillance video to develop information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting and the suspect or suspects, he said.
Rosecrans was closed for the investigation between Gard and Flallon avenues.
Information on the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
In a social media message, the sheriff’s Norwalk Station asked any witnesses to come forward with information.
