Alumni and families helped St. Catherine’s Academy mark its 130th anniversary on Saturday, March 16.

The all-boys school in Anaheim is one of Orange County’s oldest elementary schools, mixing a Catholic and military tradition with daily education. Some students board on campus while others commute.

The school was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose in 1889.

After a Mass, the afternoon celebration included a drill competition, tours of the campus and birthday cake.
