by in News

LOS ANGELES — Fans headed to opening day at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, March 28, 2019, are being warned by the Los Angeles Police Department about temporary tow away and no-parking restrictions.

Strict enforcement will be in effect. No parking signs will be at the following locations between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m.:

— Avenue of the Palms, also known as Stadium Way, between Scott Road and Academy Road

— Academy Road between Morton Avenue and Stadium Way

— Scott Avenue between Boylston Street and Elysian Park Drive

Officers will also be patrolling the area to enforce the zero-tolerance policy for drinking in public and parks around the stadium, according to a statement from the LAPD. Fans were also reminded there is no tailgating in Dodger Stadium’s parking lots.

Police warned fans who drive to the game and buy tickets near the stadium to be aware of scalpers who may sell fraudulent tickets. Undercover officers will be in the area enforcing illegal ticket sales in the hours leading up to the game.
