Pickup, motorcycle crash on 91 freeway leaves biker dead

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a crash involving a pickup truck on the eastbound Riverside Freeway in Anaheim Hills.

At about 1 a.m., near the Imperial Highway exit, the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, the California Highway Patrol said.

The freeway was closed for more than two hours.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
