Pedestrian struck and in grave condition in Buena Park; driver arrested on suspicion of DUI
BUENA PARK — A 28-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday night in grave condition with injuries he suffered from being struck by a vehicle in Buena Park and the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Police responded to the 7900 block of Artesia Boulevard near Marshall Avenue about 9:20 p.m. and located the man down, suffering from major injuries, according to Sgt. J. Shaddow of the Buena Park Police Department.
The injured man was taken to a hospital in grave condition, Shaddow said.
The driver stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI, he said.
An investigation into the crash was underway.
