Dozens of free concerts are being played around Fullerton today, June 21, for the annual Day of Music
They have been playing on the sidewalks and in dining rooms, at the park and at church.
On Friday, June 21, musicians spread out around Fullerton to perform during the annual Day of Music.
Some 40 venues in the city are hosting free concerts all day and well into the evening, including the Fox Fullerton Theatre, the Fullerton Elks Lodge and a number of restaurants, coffee shops and businesses downtown. In 2015, the Fullerton community joined the global World Music Day tradition of organizing free public music for the community on the Summer Solstice, June 21. Since its founding in France in 1982, more than 1,000 cities have joined. Fullerton was the first in Orange County.
