OCSD investigators working scene of suspected homicide at motel in Stanton
Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department are working the scene of a suspected shooting that left a man dead in Stanton on Monday afternoon.
The Sheriff’s Department said it received a call at around 1:15 p.m. about an unknown disturbance at the Villa Motel, on the 11000 block of Beach Boulevard. The caller said someone had been shot.
Today at approximately 1:15pm, deputies were dispatched to the Villa Motel on the 11000 block of Beach Blvd in Stanton for an unknown disturbance. The caller stated the someone had been shot. Deputies arrived and discovered a male adult victim.

Upon arrival, officials said an injured man was found. First responders attempted to give life-saving aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide investigators working the scene closed the far-right lane of Beach Boulevard. It is expected to remain closed until around midnight.
Officials said there is currently no suspect description.
