1 dead, another wounded in Santa Ana shooting

One person died and a second was wounded Thursday night in a Santa Ana shooting.
Officers were called to the 500 block of Pine Street shortly before midnight where they found the victims.
One was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital. The surviving victim’s condition was not disclosed.
A witness at the scene said he heard five shots in succession.
No arrests had been reported.
