89-year-old pedestrian killed in Garden Grove hit-and-run
Police sought the driver of a white sedan that struck and fatally injured an elderly man in Garden Grove early Sunday, Sept. 1.
The crash happened at about 5:58 a.m. near the intersection of Dale Street and Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove Police said in a news release. Paramedics pronounced an 89-year old man dead at the scene.

His identity was not immediately released. Investigators believe he was hit by a white sedan with a sunroof that should now have significant front-end damage. Debris left in the street following the collision suggests the car may have been a BMW.
