Man hospitalized after being stabbed in Fullerton, Ladera Vista Middle School was locked down for 30 minutes

A 45-year-old man was stabbed at least once, prompting a nearby Fullerton middle school to lock down for about 30 minutes while police searched for the suspect Tuesday morning, Sept. 24, authorities said.

The stabbing occurred just after 10:45 a.m. in the 400 block of North Acacia Street, police said.

Officers responded and found the victim, who had been stabbed at least once in the upper body. He was taken to a hospital where he was expected to survive.

Nearby Ladera Vista Middle School was placed on lockdown until about 11:20 a.m..
