Domestic-violence suspect shot by deputy in unincorporated Anaheim
A domestic-violence suspect was in surgery early Tuesday morning after he was shot by an Orange County sheriff’s deputy in unincorporated Anaheim.
Deputies, responding to a call involving a man with a knife at about 2:15 a.m., arrived to the 9500 block of Ball Road and found the man outside a home, said Carrie Braun, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
The shooting happened shortly after. Details about what led up to the shooting of the man, in his 20s, were not immediately released.
