3.3 magnitude quake shakes Brea

A magnitude 3.3 earthquake sent a short jolt through north Orange County and southeast Los Angeles County Saturday morning, Dec. 28, according to the U.S Geological Survey.

The quake struck about 9:23 a.m., with the epicenter in northeast Brea, USGS said. The depth of the quake was measured at just under 5 miles.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, according to the Brea Police Department.
