Woman arrested on suspicion of abducting her daughter in Garden Grove

A woman was arrested Friday on suspicion of abducting her daughter, prompting an Amber Alert in the area.

Officers with the Garden Grove Police Department responded to the 13000 block of Roberta Circle after getting reports of a parental abduction. Police said a 3-year-old girl was taken from her grandmother by her biological mother.

Authorities said the grandmother is the girl’s legal guardian, and there is a current restraining order against the biological mother.

An Amber Alert was issued in the area, and authorities said the woman, identified as 30-year-old Christine Lujan, was found in San Bernardino County on the 15 Freeway.

Officials said Lujan was arrested on suspicion of child abduction and the girl was found safe and unharmed.
