A 60-year-old man died at a hospital from injuries he suffered in a hit-and-run crash in Fullerton, with the 43-year-old driver of the vehicle that struck him ending up in custody.
Officers responded to the area of Lemon Street and Santa Fe Avenue about 6 p.m. Thursday and found the victim lying in the No. 2 lane of Lemon, according to the Fullerton Police Department.

The driver of the Honda, identified as Marianne Hall, 43, of Fullerton, left the scene prior to officers’ arrival but later returned and was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run causing great bodily injury or death. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be factors in the crash, police said.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
