Did you feel it? 3.0 earthquake hits near Brea
A 3.0 magnitude earthquake centered just under two miles east-northeast of Brea in northern Orange County stuck at 8:28 a.m. Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
The quake, 6.1 miles north of Placentia and 6.8 miles northwest of Yorba Linda, was at a depth of 4.7 miles, the USGS said.
The agency’s “did you feel it?” survey had one response at 8:45 a.m. The quake was also felt in Corona, about 20 miles east of Brea, in Riverside County.
