Bicyclist who was hit and killed while riding along PCH in Huntington Beach is identified

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 62-year-old bicyclist who was hit and killed in Huntington Beach was identified Wednesday by the Orange County coroner’s office as Hector Carrillo.

The collision occurred about 10:15 p.m. March 6, on the Pacific Coast Highway Canal overpass, just north of Seapoint Street, according to the coroner’s office.

Carrillo died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported.

The fatal crash was being investigated by Huntington Beach police.
