Family members seek help in finding missing at-risk Santa Ana woman
Family members of 41-year-old Erica Aranda were asking the public to help Santa Ana police in finding her after she walked out of her home and went missing earlier this week.
Aranda, who takes medication after suffering an aneurysm in 2013, was last seen Monday, March 23, at her home in the 700 block of North Minter Street, her sister, Toni Aranda, said Saturday.
At some point, Erica Aranda left the home, but did not take her purse, keys or medication, Toni Aranda said. Without the medication, Erica Aranda is prone to seizures, her sister said.
Erica Aranda is 5-feet-4-inches with long, light brown hair and a visible scar on the left temple of her forehead, Toni Aranda said. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie and multiple scarves.
The family filed a missing persons report with Santa Ana Police Department the following day, Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
