Suspects sought in Long Beach neighborhood after pursuit that began in Garden Grove
Garden Grove and Long Beach police were searching for multiple suspects who they said evaded police during a pursuit of a stolen car Friday morning.
At about 10:30 a.m., Garden Grove police officers started following a car believed to have been stolen, said Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney.
Officers followed the car onto the 22 Freeway and then the 405 Freeway heading for Long Beach. At some point on the 405, the car crashed, Whitney said.
In Long Beach, the suspects ditched the car and ran into a neighborhood at Marber Avenue and Deborah Street, police said.
Officers were searching the yards and houses in the area.
