Authorities identify man found dead in San Clemente house; suspects sought

A man found dead inside his San Clemente home last month was identified on Friday, and a sheriff’s official said detectives are continuing to seach  for suspects.

The victim was identified as Christian Zamora, 47.

Authorities have not released the way he died, but are investigating it as a homicide, said Orange County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Carrie Braun.

On April 25, deputies were called at around 10:30 p.m. about a disturbance in the 3000 block of Calle Frontera.

They tried to communicate with anyone inside the home but did not get a response, Braun said. They entered the residence and found Zamora dead inside.

No one else was at the scene.
