Torrance police officers indicted in 2018 killing of Christopher Deandre Mitchell

Torrance police officers Matthew Concannon and Anthony Chavez have been indicted in connection with the 2018 shooting death of Christopher Deandre Mitchell. While prior Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey declined to prosecute the officers, progressive Dist. Atty. George Gascón reopened the case.
