Suspect sought in Garden Grove shooting
A man was shot during an attempted robbery in Garden Grove, but was expected to survive on Monday, March 4.
The man was shot at about 7:05 p.m. in the 11300 block of Dale Street, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
Officers searched the area for the suspect, but did not immediately locate him Monday night. He was described by police as a man in his mid 40s who had been armed with a handgun.
Officers are done with the search. The suspect was not found. He was described as a Male Hispanic in mid 40’s. Motive was robbery. Armed with a handgun. If anyone has info please contact PD. #detectives #ggpd32 #update

Officials asked anyone with information relevant to the shooting to contact the Garden Grove Police Department. The number for the station is 714-741-5704.
The investigation prompted the temporary closure of a section of Dale Street.
