SoCalGas employee killed in Murrieta gas line explosion identified
The SoCalGas company employee who was killed Monday in the gas line explosion in Murrieta was identified during a Tuesday afternoon news briefing.
Wade Kilpatrick, 31, was a lead construction technician who had been with the company for 11 years, officials said. He started in 2008 as a meter reader.
Kilpatrick, a resident of Murrieta, leaves behind his mother, six brothers and a sister. One of his brothers is also an employee at the company.
