Burglary suspect shot dead by police in La Habra

A suspected burglar was fatally shot by La Habra police Thursday morning, Sept. 26, authorities said.

La Habra officers received a call at about 3 a.m. of a burglary near La Habra Boulevard and Bedford Street, Lt. Daniel Barnes said.

Officers found the suspect and an officer-involved shooting occurred, Barnes said.

Few details were immediately available about the suspect or the shooting.
