Man in critical condition after being shot in Garden Grove

A 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital Thursday night after being found with at least one gunshot wound in Garden Grove, police said.

Officers were called just before 6:45 p.m. to the 13000 block of Blackbird Street near Garden Grove Boulevard, said Garden Grove Sgt. Mark Lord.

The victim, a Garden Grove resident, was in critical condition, Lord said.

No suspects were taken into custody and police asked anyone with information to call them at 714-741-5800.
