Police seek motorist who killed father of 2
LYNWOOD – Detectives from the Sheriff’s Century Station sought the public’s help today in finding a motorist who struck a 33-year-old father of two on a bicycle, killing him.
The collision occurred Friday at 4:50 p.m. at Wright Road and Duncan Avenue in Lynwood, said Capt. James Hellmold of the Century Station.
The suspect vehicle, only described as a black car, was going east on Wright when it struck Ricardo Sandoval, dragging his body 50 feet.
The driver did not stop and fled east on Wright.
Sandoval died in the early hours of Saturday morning.
