Bicyclist crashes, dies of head injuries

Police are investigating the death of a 67-year-old man who died following a crash while riding a bike, police said.

Just before 4 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the accident on Greetree Lane south of Warner Avenue to find the man with injuries to his head, police said.

The man was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital where he died, police said.

The coroner’s office did not immediately release the man’s identity or the cause of death.
