2 injured in apparent head-on crash in Santa Ana
An apparently head-on crash between two cars Sunday in Santa Ana ejected one person, sending her to the hospital with critical injuries, fire officials said.

The crash occurred near Warner Avenue and Raitt Street at 12:08 p.m., said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Thanh Nguyen.
A blue sedan could be seen at the crash site with significant front end damage. Fire vehicles blocked the street for several hours Sunday.

It wasn’t clear what led to the crash, or how many people were involved. But the crash sent two adults nearby trauma centers, Nguyen said.
The woman who was ejected had critical injuries. Nguyen didn’t know the condition of the other person injured in the crash.
“It looks like they went head-on,” Nguyen said.
Santa Ana police were investigating the crash.
