Man, woman shot at Garden Grove intersection

A man and a woman standing near a street corner in Garden Grove in the middle of the night were gunned down Saturday, April 25, but they were expected to survive, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of Barclay Street and Maureen Drive. Witnesses said a dark-colored sedan pulled up, a man got out and fired shots at the man, 35, and the woman, 30, Garden Grove police said. The shooter then drove away.

Officers arrived to find the victims attempting to drive themselves to a hospital.
