Motorcyclist dies after hitting back of auto
A 30-year-old Moreno Valley motorcyclist died Wednesday morning when he hit the back of a car at a Riverside freeway interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
James C. Yazloff was riding his 2004 Yamaha R1 when traffic slowed ahead of him because of Caltrans road sweepers on a transition road from the northbound I-215 to westbound Highway 91, CHP Officer Sylvia Mosley said in a written statement.
Yazloff tried to avoid a wreck but hit the back of a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina driven by 30-year-old Beatriz G. Martinez of Hemet, according to the statement.
All traffic lanes reopened at 12:22 p.m.
