Teen girls trapped after car crash
Two teenage girls were taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana after being trapped in a 2005 Nissan Altima early Tuesday morning following a crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The solo-vehicle accident was reported as a major injury crash to the CHP at 3:23 a.m. on the 17th Street on-ramp to the southbound 55 in Tustin, said CHP officer Denise Quesada.
Firefighters removed the two teenagers from the vehicle, Quesada said.
According to Quesada, the driver, a minor, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
