Truck rear-ends bicycle, kills rider

A 56-year-old Yucca Valley bicyclist was killed last night when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck in that desert city, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials.

Douglas Justin James Willison died at the scene of the 11:25 p.m. wreck along the 8100 block of Palomar Avenue.

Sheriff’s deputies have released no information on the accident or investigation.
