Man believed barricaded in LA Trader Joe’s after pursuit
Los Angeles police on Saturday surrounded a Trader Joe’s grocery store after a pursuit suspect ran inside.
Broadcast reports showed police evacuating the store, where the suspect was believed to be barricaded.
There is an active police incident at the Trader Joe’s near the intersection of Hyperion Ave and Griffith Park Blvd in #Silverlake. Please stay clear of the area. A Public Information Officer is responding and more information will be released as it becomes available.

The pursuit began in Hollywood and ended in the 2700 block of Hyperion Avenue in Silver Lake, where the suspect fled the vehicle and ran inside a Trader Joe’s store, said Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez.
He said he was not aware of any injuries .
Officers could be seen on broadcast reports carrying children away from the store and bringing them to safety.

NBC Los Angeles reported shots were fired during the incident.
