These photos show the threat and damage caused by the Holy fire
The Holy fire started in Trabuco Canyon in Orange County on Monday, Aug. 6, it has since charred more than 18,000 acres and continues to grow. At least 12 cabins in the Holy Jim Canyon area have been destroyed by the blaze before it crested mountain peaks of the Cleveland National Forest. It has led to evacuations in communities near Lake Elsinore in Riverside County and a smoke plume that has blanketed the region.

As of day five, the fire has consumed some 18,100 acres and is 5 percent contained.
