The VintageVibe Festival, moved this year to Arcadia after a year in Palm Springs, celebrated a rockingly retro slam-bang Saturday at Santa Anita Park.
The hipster-fied rock concert and art happening boasted four stages full of performers cutting loose such old-school genre as roots and swing and rockabilly and more.
Among the acts: Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Las Cafeteras, Low Cut Connie, Eryn Allen Kane, Flux Capacitors, The Shelters, The Explorers Club, The Junglecats, Phat Cat Swinger, Lizzy & the Triggermen, Ultra Violet Groove and Dustbowl Revival.
The day also included such retro antics as older-model autos, vintage video games, pin-up photo shoots, photo booths and classic-era barbers, stylists and makeup artists.
The event also helped boost CASA of Los Angeles, Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Hep, indeed!
