O.C. ‘Real Housewife’ Tamra Judge sells her house for $1.75 million
That was quick.
“Real Housewives of Orange County” cast member Tamra Judge sold the Ladera Ranch house she bought in December 2017 for $1.75 million.
The 3,930-square-foot home in the guard-gated Covenant Hills community went on the market at $1.799 million on Sept. 11 and hit escrow a week later.
She and husband Eddie Judge purchased the house for $1.585 million.
Tamra Judge last month posted a slideshow of the house on Instagram, where she told fans, “After a very emotional year we have decided to make a change. I love the process of remodeling & decorating and enjoyed every step of the way. I can’t wait for you to see what’s next. We are very excited about the next chapter of our life … stay tuned.”
Eddie had been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, an irregular and often rapid heart rate. He underwent his third cardiac ablation procedure in September.
Despite a challenging time, Tamra upgraded the home. You can see how it looked when they bought it here.
And here’s how it looked in August when Tamra gave Bravo TV a video tour.
The residence has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus a spacious backyard with a swimming pool, spa and loggia, along with sunken living-room style seating, a fireplace and built-in barbecue.
“We often joke that we bought a backyard and a house came with it,” Tamra says on the tour.
The upgrades include hardwood floors, casement windows, cased archways, a media niche, custom window coverings, surround sound, in-ceiling speakers and seller-owned solar, according to the listing by Shelley Black of Veranda Realty.
In the new kitchen are a farm sink, quartz countertops, a Carrara marble herringbone backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a refrigerated beverage center.
There’s also a center island banquet, inspired by one that former O.C. Housewife Meghan Edmonds had in her redesigned Newport Beach house, Tamra Judge said. The Edmonds sold their home for $2.998 million in 2017.
The Judges have another home in the area.
