Motorist sought on suspicion of lewd conduct, child annoyance in Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of exposing himself to a teenager in the city on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

A man pulled his car next to a girl in the 900 block of Presidio Drive at about 4 p.m. and showed his genitals to her while sitting in the vehicle, according to a news release from the Costa Mesa Police Department. She ran away to get help, and the suspect fled the scene.

He was driving a black, late-model, two-door convertible, according to the release, which described him as a dark-skinned man with dark, short hair in his 20′ or 30s.
