by in News

A pedestrian died after possibly being hit by two cars who drove off from the scene on Friday, Oct. 19, police said.

Someone reported that someone was down in the road at about 5:30 a.m., said Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.

The pedestrian, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene of South Bristol Street and West Warner Avenue, Bertagna said.

It was immediately unknown if he was crossing the street in a designated crosswalk.

Bristol Street was closed from Warner Avenue to Hemlock Way while officers investigated, and police advised drivers to steer clear of the area.
