Bicyclist, 78, dies from injuries suffered in Huntington Beach crash

A 78-year-old Huntington Beach resident died Tuesday, Nov. 20, from injuries he suffered in a bicycle crash.

Charles Kam died at 11:05 p.m. at UC Irvine Medical Center.

Kam was riding on an unidentified Huntington Beach street when he collided with a vehicle at 8:42 a.m. Sunday, the Orange County Coroner’s Office said.

Huntington Beach police could not immediately be reached Thursday to obtain additional details on the collision.
