Holidays shine bright in Orange

by in News

The Orange Plaza glowed on Sunday, Dec. 2, with lights and decorations in celebration of the holiday season.

There were activities for residents throughout the afternoon including the chance to hang with Santa Claus.

As evening fell, Temple Beth Sholom led a ceremony to light the menorah that will stand in the circle all week in honor of Hanukkah . The temple will have a lighting each evening at 6 p.m. during the Festival of Lights through Sunday, Dec. 9.

The city then held its annual 24th annual tree-lighting ceremony and candlelight choir procession, filling the plaza with carols and cheer.
