Man wounded in Huntington Beach stabbing
Police sought a suspect in a Huntington Beach stabbing that sent one person to the hospital on Monday, Dec. 24.
The attack happened at about 9:07 a.m. in the parking lot of the U.S. Postal Service office, 6771 Warner Ave., according to Huntington Beach Police Lt. Kevin Johnson. He said a male victim was stabbed twice in the upper body, and sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect remained at large Monday afternoon, and was described as a white man in his 50’s who was last seen wearing a hooded jacket and a pair of khaki pants, according to Johnson. He said the man was believed to have fled the area on foot.
Information regarding a potential motive for the assault or the circumstances leading up to it was not immediately released by authorities.
