Carnival Cruise Line takes advertising campaign to the Southern California skies
Carnival Cruise Line is taking to the air to promote its latest development on the water.
The Carnival AirShip, with the message #ChooseFun on its side, flew over Long Beach on Thursday, Jan. 10, as part of a California tour advertising the imminent arrival of the Carnival Panorama cruise ship, which will call Long Beach its home port by year’s end.
The 3,954-passenger Carnival Panorama, which will weigh in at 133,500 tons, is scheduled to debut with a three-day cruise out of Long Beach beginning Dec. 11. It will then offer week-long Mexican Riviera cruises beginning Dec. 14.
The 120-foot-long AirShip is scheduled to fly over San Diego on Sunday and then San Francisco on Jan. 25.
