Man struck by vehicle, is fatally injured in Anaheim

ANAHEIM — A man was killed Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle while on an Anaheim street, authorities said.

The incident was reported at Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue, Anaheim police Lt. Brian Browne said.

The vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, who shut down the intersection for the investigation, Browne said.

Whether the man was pronounced dead at the scene or taken to a hospital was not available, he said.
