Man hospitalized after being shot in La Habra
A man was hospitalized Friday night, Jan. 18, after he was found with a non life-threatening gunshot wound in La Habra near the border of Whittier, authorities said.
About 11:20 p.m., La Habra officers were called to the 2400 block of West Whittier Boulevard on a report a man had been shot, police said in a statement.
Officers arrived and found the man, in his early 30s, with a single wound to his leg, police said. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and provided medical treatment before taking him to the hospital.
Police did not have suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.
