Driver killed after losing control of car in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH – A motorist was killed in Huntington Beach early Sunday, Jan. 27, police said.
The driver was traveling eastbound on Warner Avenue when he apparently hit a curb and lost control of the car, said Sgt. Thoby Archer.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Warner Avenue and Bridgewater Drive at 1:50 a.m. and found a severely injured man in the car. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle, Archer said.
