405 Freeway in Long Beach shut down on both sides as person in disabled vehicle is arrested
Authorities shut down both sides of the 405 Freeway in Long Beach on Sunday as police arrested an occupant of a broken-down vehicle.
Callers reported a disabled vehicle in northbound lanes of the freeway near the Bellflower Boulevard in Long Beach at about 12:25 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig. She said a person inside the vehicle was uncooperative with responding officers and later arrested.
my wife asked a police officer on the 405, he told he it was too complicated to explain

Officials did not immediately release that person’s identity or details regarding what led up to the arrest. Kravig said a SigAlert was not issued, and it was not immediately clear what time the freeway was initially closed. She said all lanes were reopened at 2:21 p.m.
The incident snarled traffic and frustrated motorists, some of whom made U-turns to reach an exit. One Twitter user said his wife asked a nearby officer what had caused the gridlock and was told “it was too complicated to explain.”
